Kylee,
You say that Boulder has decreased its violent crime rate by 1,500+ but you do not give the original number of violent crimes occurring in Boulder. What are the most recent stats for Boulder regarding violent crime?
Hi Kylee
- over what years did violent crimes decrease by 1519?
- how do the per capita crime rates compare between the big city and Boulder?
I'd recommend comparing the two areas with standardized statistics. Seeking out each of the reports you cite might introduce differences due to methodological differences or reporting policies.
And you do need to maker sure you provide a benchmark for any changes.
